This week was mushroom week for the nature group so out came the peg dolls again, and as Gabe and I are fans of eating mushrooms we decided to try and grow some special ones of our own.
It might have been cold but the light was beautiful.
We decided to head over to Highcliffe Castle for a wander in the grounds. I remember our first trip to this place when Gabe was a little younger than Ayla is now.
No big firework display this year but there is always time for sparklers.
And with all the garden displays they got to enjoy a few from the window.
To add a little extra sparkle to our November 5th we decided to make edible sparklers, with some breadsticks, melted chocolate and plenty of sprinkles.
