Recently the lists seem to have gotten out of control. Lists for home ed, lists for the shop, lists for the house, and for some unknown reason the more we have on those lists and the more we need to get done each night, the more and more energy each of the pixies have and the later they want to stay up. At first it was all about burning off energy in the garden after dinner, recently though something more has been required. The solution is the beach. At only literally 5 minutes away in the car we don't need to bring anything and it gives them what they need while we have some breathing space and the vastness of the sea to gain some perspective on all that we as parents and people stress about.
There is a new fascination with rocks of all kinds, but they are eager to learn more about fossils and fossil hunting. We have found a few but something tells me a visit over at amazon is fast approaching the top of one of my lists.
There has also as usual been a lot more crafting going on. Thea has suddenly become very interested and with both of them asking, requests simply cannot and should not be ignored.
