Yes, I know, that doesn't sound fun at all but it is the way she does it. The wonderful world of the internet means you can find a worksheet on any subject you can think of within seconds, and better yet in any style. So if you have a child that loves the movie Frozen, for example, you can find whole curriculums which use that, or if your in my household, Star Wars and My Little Pony!
So the idea is to have a folder with as many sheets as you can find inside it, a mixture of levels, and subjects and also plenty of just for fun colouring and activity sheets. Some of our favourite colouring in sheets so far have come from Dabbles and Babbles, especially their blank faces sheets.
To extend the idea out a bit, we added lolly sticks, glitter, glue, pipe cleaner and sequins to turn them into puppets.
Lets just hope they remember the only folder rule... never use the last sheet or there will be nothing for mum to photocopy!
What do you do to keep boredom at bay?
