So what do you do to cool down when summer finally arrives with a scorching heatwave? Water in all it's forms... whether that be our paddling pools or friends with cool settings on their hose...
or an early morning trip to the beach...
The easiest way to cool our heads is always water.
Just in case anyone wondered if these two look a like.
But not to be out done, the girls are just as lovely in this family!

The coolest little thing was this tiny fish skeleton, fins still intact.
Back home for the hottest part of the day and once the direct sun had gone but the heat still remained, out came the ice blocks.
It isn't summer in this house until I've imprisoned a toy or two in ice for them to rescue!
It being a full moon, all the crystals came outside for cleansing, and I discovered this mini crystal mandala Gabe had made.
